Experience Freedom

Thank you Jesus for making this past Sunday a day of which you are beginning to break chains in the lives of your people. My prayer is that you continue to use the Rock Church to be the forerunner for the lives of those who attend currently and those who will attend in the future to break what Satan has caused us to believe.

I ask Jesus, that this series called "Delievered" is from you Father. We know what your Word says in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Father, I ask for the breaking of chains among us. I pray that we believers would believe in what the Word says that I am free. You and I are free when we allow the Word to tell us who we are, what we have, and what we need to do.

Thank you for loving us and leading us.

Lead or Go Home

We are in a series right now called, "The Roles Unrolled."

Today we talked about the role of the husband and wife.

After praise I asked the men to follow me to another part of the building so I could speak to them and Cristy was going to speak to the women in the sanctuary.

You may be thinking, mid-way through the service you asked the men to exit and follow you to an alternate place on the campus. "Yes," that is exactly what happened.

God told me on Wednesday what to do. God's way is always better, whether you understand it or not.

God You moved in the hearts of men and women today. May the men who call you Savior and Lord at the Rock Church step up to the plate and start leading the way that you intended for us to lead.

One More

Wow, what a day!
God was honored.
God was glorified.

There is not one person who left the Rock today without knowing what it is exactly that Jesus Christ did for them. We prayed that people would be moved by the Holy Spirit to trust in Jesus as their Savoir.

One did.

There was an addition to heaven today from the Rock and heaven was rejoicing.

We get to worship Jesus everyday of our lives. Everyday is Resurrection Sunday for us as believers.

The Rock is starting to roll and I am so blessed to experience this move of God with all those who call the Rock their home.

Easter

What a time that we are in right now. This weekend is Easter. There will be people in our church services this weekend that would not normally come to church.

What are they looking for?

The only thing they are looking for is to possibly quiet their spouses, their mama, or their child because of the nagging they have been recieving at home.

They are going to show up and when they do let's be so prayed up that these unsaved people don't have a chance of leaving the church service without asking Jesus to be the Lord and Savoir of their life.

What a time. Don't pass up this week without inviting those in your neighborhood to church where they can hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and be changed forever.

Who are you inviting?

Be Blessed

I am so blessed to be a part of a church were we believe in giving. Giving to others outside of our walls.
This year we stepped out in faith and are now giving away 12 percent of the tithes and offerings to missions ministries like Manos de Dios, The Giving Tree, A21(Abolishing Sex Slavery in the 21st Century), and Crossroads in Nogales, Arizona.
God continues to use the Rock Church to touch lives in Sahuarita and Green Valley.
Thank You Jesus for modeling giving by dying for the Church.

Dear Jesus,
Thanks so much for Who You are. You showed yourself in mighty way today at the Rock Church.
First and foremost is the fact that there were approximately 35 people taking Votive Class. This class designed for people not willing to just sit and listen to the Word, but to plant the Word in their hearts.
I see a cleansing of hearts here. I see people, your people moving to your heartbeat and let me tell you it is a beautiful sight to see.

Seeing Blind

On Sunday morning I woke up with pink eye. I am the 5th of 6 of us in my family who has come down with this sickness.
After church on Sunday, we had planned on going to Mt. Lemmon for the night. We did go and the kids had a blast. Playing in the snow, sledding and freezing their bottoms off.
I, however, was not much help being that by Sunday evening my left eye was almost swollen shut due to the pink eye.
So when I went to bed Sunday evening, I had both of my eyes bandaged. I was guided to the bed, guided where the kleenex was, and told where the bathroom was.
As I laid in bed, all I could do was listen to what was happening around me. I was very intent on listening to the voices, without seeing faces. I was very intent on listening to the wind that was rustling through the trees outside.
God revealed to me to stop, and just listen and He will show me wonders beyond what the eyes will see.
